T in the Park wrapped up another day of their 2014 festival with some big name acts.

Headlined by Calvin Harris, crowds flocked in their thousands to soak in the musical musings on stage. Even the pouring rain wasn’t enough to deter the revellers from having a boogie from within the Scottish fields.

With a line-up which also included Biffy Clyro, Rudimental and Manic Street Preachers, many are already hailing this year’s event as the best ever.

Today’s Main stage: Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Paul Weller, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, Kodaline, Newton Faulkner, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Radio One stage: Disclosure, Tinie Tempah, Above & Beyond, London Grammar, Sam Smith, Chance the Rapper, Reverend & the Makers and Inspiral Carpets.

Plus more acts including Example at the Slam Tent and King Tut’s Tent.

For those who weren’t lucky enough to get their hands on tickets, BBC Three is providing coverage of all the goings on over the weekend. Tune in to BBC Three at 10pm tonight to hear tracks from Arctic Monkeys headline performance from T in The Park.

Coldplay’s Ghost Stories, best-selling album of 2014 so far

Coldplay’s sixth studio album has been named the biggest-selling album of the year so far.

Ghost Stories has sold over 375,000 copies since its release in May to beat Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon and Arctic Monkey’s AM, according to the Official Charts Company.

The second biggest-selling album is Paolo Nutini’s Caustic Love, which has sold over 329,000 copies since April.

Ellie Goudling’s Halcyon is in third position after the singer reissued an expanded version of her album Halcyon Days, which includes her number one single “Burn”.

Paloma Faith’s A Perfect Contradiction is fourth, while Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour completes the top five with sales of over 228,000 copies since its release in May.

Ed Sheeran’s X has been named the twelfth best-selling album of the year so far after just one week on sale.

The album sold over 182,000 copies during its first week of release and is currently the fastest-selling record of 2014 so far.

One Direction’s Midnight Memories was named the biggest-selling album of 2013, with sales of over 685,000.
